We have a strong health and safety focus for our workers and workplaces and promote it through regular meetings and risk assessment on site with staff and the main contractors.
Our staff are first aid trained, we also promote health and wellness checks for our staff. Tonic Interior Systems are full members of Site Safe and Hazardco to ensure effective procedures are in place and cooperation with our main contractors.
All employees hold site safe construction passports and receive ongoing training.
Born and bred in Southland, Tony has 25 years experience in the ceiling industry in Southland and Canterbury. Tony began his career in Christchurch and quickly went from installing ceilings to managing job sites. Fifteen years ago, he returned to Southland and continued to work in the ceiling industry before establishing Tonic Interiors in 2015.
In his current role Tony liaises with the main contractor, site foreman, engineer, architect and client to ensure a good understanding of the job and the clients expectations are met. Tony is passionate about providing a quality service no matter how big or small the job is. Tony values and has strong working relationships with his staff and contractors. He manages the day to day running of the Company and is often seen on the tools. Tony holds a Site Safe Advanced Gold card.
Leeanne has been with the company since it was established in 2015. Her role includes the financial management and general administration for the business including health and safety management and human resources. Leeanne brings with her a comprehensive knowledge in management, banking, sales, HR and governance. Leeanne supports Tony with a high level of organisation.
Both Leeanne and Tony focus on all parties working together effectively. We provide great customer service and have excellent working relationships with our clients and the various company’s we work with.
